Information on the mediation procedure with the ombuds office

The mediation procedure according to Art. 74 ff. FinSA is an efficient method of dispute resolution in which the parties seek a consensual solution to their dispute with the help of our ombudsperson or a mediator approved by the UOS in order to resolve existing conflicts and / or avoid future conflicts. The mediator promotes the exchange of information and points of view between the parties and encourages them to seek common solutions that suit their needs and interests.

  • For customers of financial service providers, financial institutions and insurance brokers the mediation process is free of charge

  • With the submission of the placement request a small registration fee (CHF 100) will be due
